CEFLI is pleased to announce that it will be holding its second Eastern Regional Compliance Forum on May 10th at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, DC. The CEFLI Eastern Regional Compliance Forum is scheduled to take place from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Lunch will be served.
The Eastern Regional Compliance Forum is part of CEFLI’s 2016 Regional Compliance Forum series, which provides an opportunity for compliance and ethics professionals from CEFLI member companies to meet in-person to engage in a candid discussion of current compliance challenges. Unlike other CEFLI Forums that often involve direct participation by regulatory representatives, the Eastern Regional Compliance Forum is designed for company representatives only.
There is no registration fee to attend CEFLI Regional Compliance Forums which are provided as part of your company’s CEFLI membership benefits. We do, however, ask all participants who plan to attend the Eastern Regional Compliance Forum to register via the link below.
When you register, you will be asked to identify possible issues for our Forum agenda. The monthly meeting of CEFLI’s Compliance & Ethics Committee will take place as part of the Eastern Regional Forum agenda.
This year’s Eastern Regional Compliance Forum is being held in conjunction with the next installment in CEFLI’s Summit Meeting Series. We hope you will consider staying to join us for the DOL Fiduciary Rule Summit Meeting: Exploring the Impact of New Compliance Challenges for the Life Insurance. The Summit Meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 11 and will be preceded by a timely overview of the DOL Fiduciary Rule on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 10 immediately following the Eastern Regional Compliance Forum.
