Unclaimed Property Summit Meeting II: A Regulatory and Operations Perspective

State and federal regulators, industry experts, producers and life insurance company representatives met on November 13, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel & Conference Center.
The CEFLI Unclaimed Property Summit Meeting II is designed to provide a non-advocacy Forum by bringing together state and federal regulators, industry experts, producers and life insurance company representatives. Participants will engage in an open discussion of contemporary Unclaimed Property compliance challenges.
The Event included:
- An overview of the issues discussed at the recent Unclaimed Property Summit Meeting.
- Regulatory insights on the overall topic of Unclaimed Property including perspectives on recent settlements and new legislative and regulatory developments.
- A collaborative Forum to raise questions and provide answers from a company perspective and a regulatory perspective.
- Additional challenges for all organizations and a review of future regulatory expectations.
CEFLI’s Unclaimed Property Summit Meeting II was open to all CEFLI member companies, and government/regulatory representatives at no cost and to non-member representatives for a registration fee.
